Joe Rogan was previously against universal basic income, then later on said that it was a good idea, and then switched again and now believes that UBI is a horrible idea. Is it a bad idea that he goes on his podcast to talk about things when he keeps switching sides or is this perfectly fine?

If a person keeps making news decisions based on new data, then that is not a bad thing. This notion of picking a side and staying with it regardless of what information you later receive is non-sense. It is a weird assumption to make that nothing in the world changes and thus you need not change your approach.

That being said, I don’t know how Rogan is making his decisions. He might be doing the research, he might be picking a solution out of a hat. The former is fine, the latter is problomatic.
