What are your thoughts on universal basic income in Alberta or Canada?

People seem to view UNI differently. Myself, I view UBI as something that would provide similar benefits as AISH. These would be granted to everyone, regardless of income, and those who are working would face a higher tax rate (to start paying back their UBI, and higher income would be paying more).

The challenge is that we have about 31,000,000 adults. This means we need to come up with an additional $620 billion through program savings and additional taxes.
