A couple of days ago, I read that Mark Zuckerburg is a proponent of a universal basic income. That is, a set payment to every person, regardless of sex, race, income, ability or other factors. It is supposed to be paid to each person without condition and be enough to support the basic needs of that person. Instead of dismissing this idea out of hand because it came from a globalist, I did some research instead.
PROS Proponents of UBI say that having our needs met will increase our creativity by taking survival off of our minds.
