Joking aside—I do think, Indonesia as well as many developing Asian countries, won’t be able to take on Universal Basic Income anytime soon, or anytime in the near future, or anytime in imaginable future.
For one, as far as my understanding goes, the premise of UBI is to provide citizens with just the necessary income to live with basic human necessity without the obligation for labor.
