Trialling new Basic Income concept welcomed by Watt

Councillor Darren Watt. A COWDENBEATH councillor is welcoming the news that a possible new strand to the benefits system could be piloted in this area.

The Universal Basic Income idea was talked about as possible alternative to the current system and Fife Council is looking at it.
