Fury as fatcat boss of firm providing cars for the disabled takes home £1.7million

Tens of thousands of people have had battles over their Motability cars (file photo) A firm that provides taxpayer-funded cars for the disabled faces a backlash after it emerged its chief executive took home £1.7million last year.

MPs and peers slammed Motability after Mike Betts’ eye-watering package emerged – 11 times more than that of the Prime Minister.
