Last month, the Camera highlighted the founding fathers’ concern about the threat of those with great wealth taking over the government of the country. ( "Plutocracy," Daily Camera, Feb. 18). This threat is being realized by the current political class in Washington. The National Rifle Association prevents gun-control legislation in Congress, for example.
