STOCKTON — Emily Katz said the decision to fill two buses with Bay Area-based philanthropic leaders and take them on a tour of Stockton was simple.
“This is a place where so much is happening,” Katz, representing Northern California Grantmakers, said as the so-called Stockton Reinvention Tour was beginning Friday morning. “I just felt this warmth … that we could create true change. In life, you hope you get lucky enough to support something so profound and transformative.”
