People want more freedom, less burocracy, and if unemployed people start working a few hours a week they should be rewarded instead of punished ("welfare cliff", "poverty-trap).
No country has ever instated the UBI, but the experiments all seem to show the same thing: people will not stop working, but will choose to do more unpaid work. School-attendance goes up.
