‘Will help alleviate poverty in cities’
An urban job guarantee scheme on the lines of the Mahatma Gandhi Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme will help alleviate poverty in cities, which have turned into the most “grim” spaces in the country, Communist Party of India (Marxist) general secretary Sitaram Yechury said here on Wednesday.
