Universal Credit could be replaced in Hull by £100 a week for everyone in UK first

Proposals for a new Universal Basic Income to replace Universal Credit have moved a step closer to reality in one city.

Councillors in Hull have backed plans for the city to try UBI in what would be a first for the UK.
