Ann Arbor, MI, October 2, 2020-Consumer sentiment rose 8.5% to 80.4 in September, according to final results from the University of Michigan.
This represents a 13.7% decline year over year.
“Consumer sentiment continued to improve in late September, with the Sentiment Index reaching its highest level in six months,” says Survey of Consumers chief economist Richard Curtin. “The gains were mainly due to a more optimistic outlook for the national economy.
