Photo Source: Shutterstock.com The UK may have started inoculating its citizens with the COVID-19 vaccine but that doesn’t mean it’s averting lockdown. Since Dec. 16, London has been under tier three lockdown, which means many non-essential businesses have gone back to being closed, including live theater and cinemas.
Around 100 cinemas will close in London, and the West End will be shut down to live audiences, although theater rehearsals and performances without audiences are still allowed. Film productions are also allowed to continue. There is no timeline for when lockdown will be lifted.
