Consumers want certainty about their income outlook in Finance Minister Tito Mboweni’s budget speech on Wednesday February 24 – including minimum wage and personal income tax rates, the professional services firm says PwC.
The firm noted that the BER / FNB Consumer Confidence Index fell from a reading of -23 in the third quarter of 2020 to -12 in the fourth quarter.
