How the stimulus plan still neglects our most vulnerable kids | Opinion

On its face, President Biden’s proposal to cut child poverty in half as part of the signed $1.9 trillion COVID relief plan is admirable. For at least a half century, the U.S. has had nearly twice the proportion of children living in poverty as other western countries ; today our kids rank near the bottom of the list , just below Russia and Mexico.
