EVEN IF THE STATE PENSION IS RAISED TO 8%, PENSIONERS WILL STILL HAVE A GAP IN THEIR INCOME. According to new research by retirement specialist Just Group, the increase would still leave a £730-a-year income shortfall when compared to the Joseph Rowntree Foundation’s Minimum Income Standard.
