Is a universal basic income economically feasible/sustainable in the long-term?

Problem is, if you hand out the same sum to everyone, you are ubiquitously and equally increasing the buying capacity of the consumers, which would lead to proportional inflation. You would thus harm people with no other income.

I also think it is worth doing the math. Is doing the bureaucracy for like 5%-10% of the citizens really more expensive, than giving the same benefit to other 90%-95%? I don’t have any numbers, but seems very counterintuitive.
