NEW DELHI: The Union Budget 2022 is expected to lay a roadmap for India’s economic revival amid a resurgence of Covid-19 infections, consulting firm KPMG said in its pre-budget post titled “India Union Budget 2022-23: Economy of the resurgent India”.
Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman is expected to spell out policies and measures to target demand generation and job creation to sustain the anticipated eight per cent plus growth rate of 2022-23.
Consumption-led growth and increase in production capacity, alongside policies to curb inflation are important, the report said.
