A NEW proposal has called for $3million in support to help fund 24 months’ worth of payments.
The guaranteed income push comes from a coalition led by nonprofit UpTogether. Residents would get a total of $28,800 worth of payments In a letter to council members in Detroit, Michigan , the organization, which advocates for "economic and social mobility," is requesting that council members approve $1,200 in monthly payments to residents for two years.
