Commissioner Rodney Ellis, Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, and Barbie Robinson. Nearly 2,000 low-income households in Harris County will be eligible to receive monthly payments next year at no cost.
Applications for the county’s Uplift Harris program will open up in January and low-income residents will be able to receive $500 payments for 18 months.
