The Rooted School aims to teach students in-demand skills that allow them to enter the workforce faster. By partnering with local tech companies, the school helps students intentionally hone skills required for the area’s existing entry-level jobs. A study released this year by UNICEF and the Overseas Development Institute found that high-income countries can see a 5% drop in poverty from universal child benefits.
