Chante White, a volunteer with Future Majority in Peterborough, said she was spurred to act on climate change after she was trapped during a trip to Mexico during a category three hurricane.
“Ever since that trip, she said, “I have been getting actively involved in social justice movements to not only spread the message of climate change and its disastrous effects, but also to mobilize youth and to be the change we want to see.”
