Far from actually considering the terrifying economic currents in the United States that are making impossible for half of all Americans to pay their rent , these legislators thought it best to take a page from the book of a Florida-based lobbying group that still thinks good old-fashioned bootstrapping is the only way for the millions of Americans that just can’t make ends meet.
