In a significant step towards what they call addressing poverty and fostering equitable opportunities, California just launched its inaugural state-funded guaranteed income pilot programs.
These pioneering initiatives are set to benefit young adults who have aged out of the foster care system, providing them with a monthly stipend of $1,000 to $1,200.
