There is much variety in Basic Income proposals. Here I consider a U.S. national plan that pays every citizen without discrimination by age or any other condition. This plan replaces all federal programs that make transfer payments or provide individual benefits. Opportunities Party leader Gareth Morgan says he doesn’t support raising the age of superannuation, but he does want means-testing to restrict higher-income earners who don’t need it.

Some state "jobs" will go away and we need to offer those who cannot find other versions of work to solidify them – must be offered a basic income or it will damage the economy.
