Child poverty to reach record high, predicts think tank

Welfare policies like the two-child limit are responsible. Child poverty will reach a record high by 2023/2024, according to a report by the Resolution Foundation think-tank – passing the previous highs of the 1990s.

The report says that child poverty is likely to have risen by 4% between 2016/2017 and 2018/2019 and will rise by 6% between 2016/2017 and 2023/2024.
