Demographic details for the Cook County Promise Guaranteed Income Pilot—funded through the American Rescue Plan Act and, at $42 million, the largest publicly funded guaranteed income program in America—were released today.
Nearly 235,000 people applied for the program that selected 3,250 Cook County residents to each receive $500 monthly payments for two years.
