Unions call on province to deliver budget that reverses cuts to education
Ahead of the release of Ontario’s 2022 budget on April 28, four education unions held a joint news conference on Monday, April 25 to call out the “Ford government’s inadequate investment in publicly funded education” and demand it “chart a new course” especially as students, parents and educators grapple with the COVID-19 pandemic.
