Mountain View (KPIX) – Mountain View is one of the Bay Area cities moving forward with a guaranteed or universal basic income program. That’s what the Saturday rally was about in the first place but there was also talk of a different kind of politics.
“I think we’re seeing good results in other cities so I felt it was time to try it here,” said Margaret Abe Koja of Mountain View City Council.
