Billionaire entrepeneur Richard Branson says free enterprise is still the best way to spread wealth and improve the world, and is confident the tide of populist rhetoric pushing back against trade and globalisation will soon pass.
Reflecting on his native Britain’s vote to leave the European Union and Donald Trump’s election as US President on an anti-trade platform, Mr Branson said rebuilding barriers to the movement of people or goods was "madness".
