Guest column: Oregon should adopt a universal basic income

So it’s time to stop waiting for more research about providing a Universal Basic Income (UBI). Instead, it’s time we adopt a UBI and fine tune it as we go. A UBI would provide every Oregonian with a monthly stipend; current UBI programs range from $500 to $1,500 a month.
