Special to The News-Press While most generalizations are usually inadequate, perhaps including this one, Hispanics usually vote Democratic. According to the Pew Research Center, 65% of Puerto Ricans are Democrats as are 59% of Mexican Americans, this country’s largest immigrant group. However, like every generality there are exceptions. Sixty-six per cent of Cuban Americans are Republicans. Venezuelans also tend to vote Republican although the data here is less definitive.
