The cost to purchase healthy food in Perth County for a family of four went down by $7.50 per week compared to last year, the latest Perth District Health Unit’s report on food affordability shows.
But the local organization, which conducts the study every year in the county, said buying nutritious food is still out of reach for a lot of families in the community.
