New Delhi: Income tax return filing deadline has been extended to November 30, 2020. Taxpayers who fail to submit their return in due time will be required to pay a penalty for late filing. Taxpayers filing returns for the financial year 2019-20 and the assessment year 2020-21 must clear their income tax liability before the last date to avoid penalty and income tax notice.
