Lil, a care leaver from Cwmbran When Lil was approaching her 18th birthday, she had more to worry about than most children on the cusp of adulthood. Then 17 years old, the teenager from Cwmbran had been in care for two years after she had to leave home due to family issues.
She ended up in the system after "thing went wrong" with her mum and she moved in with her aunt. "My aunty then went through a court case…It was stressful because I have five siblings and we were all split apart," Lil previously told WalesOnline .
