Gary CameronREUTERS Los Angeles County, California, continues to send $1,000 monthly payments through the Breathe Program , a guaranteed income program for low-income residents.
The program first opened applications on March 31, 2022 and closed on April 13 of that same year. Payments began to be sent out in June of last year. Since then, Breathe Program recipients have been receiving a monthly payment of $1,000 and will continue to receive it for several years.
