LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors is expected to vote Tuesday on a motion that would launch a guaranteed income pilot program for young people between the ages of 18 and 24.
The three-year program would provide 150 people with $ 1,204 per month. The money would be broken down into $ 1,000 in general income and $ 204 in CalFresh, the state program that provides low-income California residents with money to purchase food.
