New Delhi, Jun 25 () Joining the ongoing debate on growth data, former RBI deputy governor Rakesh Mohan Tuesday said manufacturing growth is not consistent with India’s overall economic growth figures.
Mohan said that the country can not grow at 8 per cent without manufacturing sector recording 10 per cent growth.
"If you don’t recognise the problem, you can not solve it. As far as data for manufacturing growth is concerned, it is not consistent with Indian’s GDP growth."Import of capital goods is also zero. Growth in production of capital goods production is also zero," he said at an event here.He […]
