The nation becoming wealthy doesn’t equate to it’s citizens becoming wealthy. American businesses might do very well, I suspect they will, barring any stupid government intervention.
But the reason businesses will do well is they are going to lose the human overhead they used to have. They will have software and robots doing lots of the work. So their products will be more and more perfect in ways human workers can’t come close to competing with.
