Almost half (46 per cent) of retirees across the UK do not have enough money in emergency savings, according to research by Focaldata.
As reported by our sister publication MoneyAge , those aged 65 and over are most likely to describe themselves in good or excellent financial shape at 49 per cent, which compared to 33 per cent overall.
