KATHERINE MARTIN, Ireland’s Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, was in London this week to meet with British parliamentarians and trade union representatives.
Minister Martin has been invited to speak to the Performing Alliance All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) in Westminster about the pioneering Irish Basic Income for the Arts (BIA) Scheme, an innovative pilot scheme that could change how the arts are funded in Ireland.
