Less than two years ago, Alberta made international headlines for slashing child poverty in half. Even still, before COVID -19 changed our world, more than 315,000 Albertans lived below the poverty line, including 60,000 children.
Now, in the middle of a pandemic, we’re seeing alarming increases to unemployment, lowered incomes and increasing costs.
