That’s why we are proposing to expand the Guaranteed Annual Income System or GAINS program to include about 100,000 more seniors. We are also indexing the program each year to inflation.We want to ensure that when costs rise for low-income older adults because of inflation that they receive the support they need.By expanding and annually indexing the GAINS program, we are providing financial support to more vulnerable low-income older adults.
