Paterson Press PATERSON — Monserate Reyes — one of 110 residents who received $400 debits cards earlier this month through the city’s experimental guaranteed income program — says she has already spent most of her money on food.
“Food is very expensive now,” said Reyes, 55, who said she works two part-time jobs — one as a home health aide and another going door-to-door encouraging people to get COVID-19 vaccines.
