Following news that Doug Ford’s government will phase out a pilot project aimed it to help low-income earners. Many are fearful going forward, including those who have been trying to help people get out of poverty. Matthew Bingley reports.
When Ontario Social Services Minister Lisa MacLeod announced the government will renege on a campaign promise to preserve the basic income pilot project , she repeated a familiar refrain.
