An organization that helps homeless youth is struggling to keep up with rising housing prices in Lanark County.
“Our biggest obstacle is the cost of housing,” said Terrilee Kelford, board chair of Cornerstone Landing Youth Services, during Perth town council’s committee of the whole meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 1.
By way of example, her organization spent about $20,000 in rent supplements in 2019.
