Michael Austin on Unsplash. Every farmer in the UK should receive a regular and unconditional Basic Income to help cover their living costs, as well as to help keep the industry afloat as costs soar and margins tighten.
That’s the recommendation in a new report produced by campaign group BI4Farmers, working in collaboration with think-tank Autonomy and the Basic Income Conversation campaign.
