Google Maps SINGAPORE — Noting how Raffles Institution (RI) has become "less diverse" over the years, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said the Education Ministry will work with RI and other popular schools so that they never become "self-perpetuating, closed circles".
Speaking in Parliament on Wednesday (May 16), Mr Lee expressed concern over some parents not wanting to send their children to the top school due to the perception that they would not fit in with other more well-off students in RI.
