State theater board pulls curtain on playhouse

The Hardin County Playhouse in the Plum Alley Theater at the Historic State Theater Complex will take its final bow when August rolls around.

The theater’s board decided not to renew the playhouse’s lease, signaling its curtain call at its current location.
