Is the the idea of universal guaranteed income and housing for every adult citizen something that could work? Is it true or not that it would create millions of lazy people unwilling to work as long as somebody else is paying for it?

At what point would it start? 18? 21, 25? What about $20/wk until 12, then $50/wk until 14. Then $100/wk until 16 and 200/wk at 16, then $400/wk at 18 and continue. It would teach people how to handle money (that money going direct to people, not to whoever claims them), would grow the economy, help people that are in college. Of course, once you have income of $40k; your share would start decreasing at half the amount until unaided.

How to pay for it? First, tax imports when they come in and tax people for having things manufactured overseas. […]

As businesses received stimulus packages to keep the economy afloat, vulnerable citizens were offered relief packages of varying sizes and time periods. Decades of debate about the feasibility and effectiveness of unconditional (non-contribution based) cash transfers were brought to a temporary standstill as a global concession was forced by the unprecedented financial hardship brought on by the pandemic.

The implementation of social […]

Universal Basic Income Is A Great Idea––Look At Stockton, California

Scary Mommy and Chinga_11/Getty Many of us have received our most recent round of COVID relief checks. What you do with your money is your business, but if you are someone who doesn’t think government handouts are a good idea, I am happy to suggest places and people who could benefit from your complaints. For those of us who have children, this relief package includes a taste of basic universal income that has been tested in other countries and is being suggested by the Biden administration. Rush Reads the Stitches on the Fastball — Yellen Pushes Socialism Disguised as “Stimulus”

TODD: We ask our friends, “At what point are we broke?” We’re nearing a point where 98% of our GDP will be in debt, and what that means is 98% of our income will be in debt — and at that point, there is no digging out. And the Democrats are brilliant at structuring heads-they-win, tails-we-lose situations.

This can only be interrupted by absolute truth telling from Republicans as Biden’s dementia by way of Obama’s teleprompter is seeking another $1.9 trillion package that was gonna come with neat things, like tracking you wherever you drive by way of this per-mile-driven […]
